CGIT is assisting the Town of Blacksburg in bringing the Town into compliance with the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) regulations under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
The goal of the partnership between CGIT and the Town of Blacksburg is to help the Town move toward a more accurate and efficient stormwater modeling and management system, in accordance with NPDES guidelines. Some of the activities that are, or will be, performed by CGIT under this collaboration include: researching the currently available storm sewer data, delineating subwatersheds or watersheds, collecting additional information when necessary, and analyzing the quality of the data.
